Right now I'm reading one of my favorite writing-on-writing books, "How to Write a Mystery," by Larry Beinhart. One reason I love the book is it's so positive, it is like a pep talk:
If you can write a clear sentence, if you can organize your thoughts, if you know the field and love it, and if you will make the commitment, you can probably write a salable book (p. 3).
Yes! Whenever I think to myself, "This is ridiculous! What makes me think that _I_ could write a book," I whip out Beinhart's book and re-read it.
Well, now I'm going to go and do _at least_ 1,000 words on my current writing project. Talk to you later. :)
